Good for you! I don't know if I could do it. The skiing part would be rough, but I am absolutely TERRIFIED of ski lifts. I haven't set foot on a mountain since I was a kid...I just *know* that if I get on a lift, mine will be the car that randomly jumps the cable!

I think you answered your own question! Having 3 boys, 2 not in school yet, IS a full-time job! You don't NEED to do anything!
That said, you do have the time off when they are at their dad's that you could make use of. Take a correspondance course in something that interests you - that's how to decide what to upgrade on! Of course, I would be remiss to not remind you of the etsy store idea... I almost envy you having time "off" when you could do whatever you chose. Almost.

You crack me up...your mind is always working "overtime". Why not give yourself a break and just take it day by day for the mean time. You have had to be the "Thinker" and "planner" for so long...give your mind a rest...then when it comes time for the boys to all be in school thats when you plan to take over the world!!! hehe.

Way to go Angela! Your strength and determination to move ahead with your life in such a positive way is really admirable!

I just wanted to say that even though I'm married, I kept my maiden name (the default in the Quebec law) and I'm used to not having the same name as my husband and kids. It's the standard here, and it's really just a question of getting used to it. You'll still get called by your former name when the boys' school calls and stuff like that, but it'll be no biggie :-)

Yup that's a wonderful new years resolution. :)

Thank you ladies! I am much better today, yesterday morning was just a low point for me. Monkey's teacher thinks he needs counseling, which I always knew was a possibility, but hadn't thought it got to this point yet. Just like you are hurt, but not destroyed, so can you help your sons to move forward with strength and an eye toward the future.
